A little budget tip for holiday decorating.

Saturday night you set the table with a tall vase of very pricey flowers. This morning they’re looking limp. You’re feeling very unsatisfied and a little ripped off. What’s a bitch to do? Save the life of your flowers by cutting them back and recycling them into cute little vases.
Clip those stems, let them live to decorate another day!

I put my flowers in the fridge at night, then in the morning I cut off about an inch of the stem, this lets the water go up the stem. If your flowers have a woody stem, like roses mash the end of the stem. That is the only way the water can reach the flowers.
I always put them in straight ginger ale or sprite from get go and they last for weeks
