This is Snickers. He was a stray walking around the streets. I adopted him two weeks ago from a shelter I have been volunteering at. Such a sweet, sweet boy. He is a 4yr old Teddy Bear Yorkie
This is my sweetie Bacon the guinea pig playing dominoes with us. He won. His hobbies include eating and making funny noises. His best friend is our lab terrier mix Redemption and he LOVES Lady Gaga. We don’t know how old he is because we rescued when some one left him with their neighbor and moved away. I don’t see how anyone could just leave him, because he steals the hearts of every one he meets!
I attached a pic of my puppy, Theo. I adopted him about a month ago from a rescue. He is half schnauzer, half poodle. He is modeling my awesome Kate Spade bag that I bought at a rummage sale for $12.00. He appreciates that I am a Bitch on a Budget!! Though I’m never a bitch to him!

Next up is Landry aka Tank, because he plows through everything in his way ! Especially if there is food to be had ! We got him from a pitbull rescue, he had been found in a ditch with his brother and sister. I knew once I saw him in the ad online, he was meant to be mine. He just had surgery on both ACL’s and he charmed the entire vet staff at the clinic. He is such an easy going guy, he’s hard not to love.
First up is Lala. I wasn’t looking for a boxer when I went puppy hunting, but she sold herself very well. Her “wigglebutt” move still works to this day. Now that I own a boxer, I never want to be without one, they are truly the “clowns of the dog world”.
I couldn’t find the file bubble on the page to attach, but here’s my lovely dog. She’s a rescue from animal control and despite being ill when she was a puppy has been the best dog I could hope for.

This is Jackson. He is a 16 month old Yorkipoo that has is Mommy and Daddy wrapped around is paw. Many of is relatives live out of state so we send festive cards, with Jackson in costume, to brighten their day.
Jackson also has many friends in the neighborhood that he likes to visit during his walks or have over for playdates – he is very good about sharing his toys with his friends – especially the girls.
Though currently in a “satellite dish” our little Goyan is a sweet, cute, chattery girl. We take her to our favorite restaurant, the Red Parrot, at the beach, where she enjoys the attention she garners from the other patrons.
Reggie is my little daredevil, escape artist, and clown (as evidenced by the pic!). He came to us in 2007, and had no feathers, but as you can see, he’s grown most of them back!
Pee Wee (pictured) and his brother Mulligan came to live with us on Easter of this year. Pee Wee has a penchant for cuddling and falling asleep on your shoulder!
I had to submit more, I felt so bad leaving part of the flock out!!! Here are Jack, Chester and I during their photo shoot (my BF took a candid shot while comforting Chester’s frayed nerves, so it’s not a pro shot!).
Now that you’ve seen Harley and Shogun, it’s time to show off the rescued rabbits. They are house rabbits, litter box trained. How anyone could abandon these fantastic rabbits is beyond me. Here is our lovely buns romping around the house. Shadow is the mini lop, and Hazel is the mini Rex. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zvbx9PU0vME
We have 4 shelter pets, 2 rabbits and 2 dogs. One rabbit was a stray, and one an easter reject. Both our dogs were picked up as strays, one was microchipped and the owners refused to pay the fees to get the dog back. He is new to our household and 15 lbs underweight. When we took him from the shelter we were truly concerned that he was sick and not long for this world, but on a diet of 6 cups of food per day and a whole lot of love, he’s steadily gaining weight and energy.
The purebred Doberman is the one that was picked up 15 lbs underweight. His name is Shogun. Next to him is Harley, the German Shepherd mix.
