My fave lip gloss under $10 is Express…. And the best find ever…$2 Elf Super Glossy Lip Shine!!! I LOVE this stuff! It’s so cheap, it tastes yummy and I like it better than the other 15 lipglosses in the bottom of my purse!
My favorite lip product under $10 is the Spell Cosmetics “Vamp Up Lip Plumper” gloss. ( $9.99) It doesn’t hurt your lips, it’s not sticky and it comes in clear or colored versions. My favortie is the “Cneterfold” one. Perfect nude color!
Hey Bitches!
I am addicted to 2 lip balms…
Burts Bees with Honey (which I have run out of and can’t find again anywhere!!!) and Avon’s Moisture Therapy Intensive Treatment Moisturizing Lip Treatment SPF 15 ($.99).
My lips have a tendency to become very dry to the point that they start peeling. I have a very bad habit of then picking at the skin on my lips, sometimes until they bleed. Not a good look. These 2 lip balms not only keep me from picking my lips and looking like a crackhead, but also keep my lips looking & feeling good.
I use plain old Vaseline the most. It has many uses aside from keeping lips moisturized. I have 2 children and so I find it to be the safest without all the extra additives in products….
I love, love, love Burt’s Bees Lip Balm!! For right around $3 (cuz you pay more for all natural so your lips don’t suffer from chemicals) you get a cool, refreshing wash of peppermint across your lips that lasts for hours instead of minutes like some chemical based lip balms. I recommend it to everyone I know! =)
Bonne Bell LipSmacker is my personal favorite. I’m 38 yrs. old and have been using it for years. Leaves your lips soft and has a subtle shine/shimmer and comes in different flavors. Favorite flavor is Strawberry Kiwi $1.75 for a single tube or $4.50 for a 3 pack.
I have to go along with Chapstick. It can be found in every bag/purse I ever use; my car, my studio, & almost every room in the house.
It has been my constant companion during my almost 60 years of being a “bitch”.
I have been prone to dry, chapped lips since childhood, to the point of not being able to use paper napkins because of the feeling of the paper against sore & peeling lips.
If I were to be asked what I would HAVE to have with me to survive on a desert island, I have always KNOWN it would have to be a trusty tube of Chapstick. Otherwise, kill me now because my lips are going to fall off my face.
Many’s the time I’ve had to tell ‘hubs’; “You can’t kiss me; my lips are chapped!”
*snort*!
My absolute fave is Carmex. I use it constantly. Those little yellow tubes and jars are everywhere in my house, car, purse, etc. And for a spot of color that lasts all day I use Almay TLC #240 Raisenette. (that’s the one with the color on one end and the gloss on the other.) Love it.
The #1 lipgloss is Glazewear by AVON and best of all the reg. price is $6.00 BUT always on sale – right now for $2.49! And it comes in so many great colors with 3 different finishes. Or if you want a more natural product, with no preservatives, Liiv Botanicals by AVON has an awesome, extremely moisturizing glossy lip conditioner for a reg. price of $8.00 – again can almost always be found for a better price!
Palmer’s Cocoa Butter Formula Swivel Stick. It’s great for chapped lips, keeps healthy lips soft, and does great under regular color. The Added Bonus? It’s also great on the cuticles, or any rough spots!
This is a NO BRAINER Bitches!! Sally Hansen’s LIPFLATION clear and colored lip glosses RULE THE UNIVERSE! Yep, they are that good—nothing else comes close to the same shine, fullness or softness! And its under $6 at CVS or Walmart. Sometimes its even under $5 on sale! Try it, you’ll be SOLD!
I have used plain Vaseline since i was , well, a baby Not always on my bum. I use it on my kisser too. If applied at bedtime, you will awaken with a puffed up pucker..woohoo. cheap too.
The best kissable lip balm that is not sticky ect and guys love is so super cheap and sold in a 3 pack…Blistex Fruit Smoothies when I want to kiss or be kissed this is my must have after years and years of endless searching this is my # 1 favorite lipe balm…..
Neutrogena Moisture Shine Lip Soother, about $8.00 at Target. It’s the only thing in my makeup bag full of lipsticks and glosses that doesn’t dry out my lips.
nivea’s a kiss of moisture lip balm. amazing stuff. i use it every single day :] the tinted one is great too. it gives you a sexy red stain on your lips as if you’ve just eaten a cherry popsicle.
I have two I carry simultaneously. I always have a tube of Burt’s Bees Replenishing Lip Balm with Pomegranate Oil. I have been complemented on having very soft lips when using of this product. I also swear by Yankee Candle’s Vanilla Cupcake Flavored Lip Balm. I bought it initially bc I was intrigued that they made lip balm in addition to candles. It smells divine and helps my lips stay soft. It doesn’t hurt that it also comes in a tube shaped like their well-known candle jars. (Buttercream is yummy as well!) http://www.yankeecandle.com/cgi-bin/ycbvp/product_detail.jsp?oid=6516704
avon’s blooming pout lip gloss. moisturizes, protects and brings out the pink in your smile. not the neon pink like the old green lipsticks from the 80′s! lol but a natural, soft pink, your OWN pink, no 2 are alike. fresh sweet mint taste, too. and has the pout tingle too! $3!
My personal favorite is available in healthfood stores:
Reviva Vitamin E stick at just $3.79 per tube – a great price for a great product, that keeps my lips soft all winter long!
Watch your ingredient lists ladies – for Known Cancer causing Agents
Not surprisingly Blistex Lip Revitalizer scores in 9 of 12 toxic parameters. Blistex lip balm contains two carcinogens – Saccharin and GLYCOLIC ACID – with linkage to skin cancer. NOT the kind of product you want to be using on your lips!
