    I’ve always been a “label reader”. I began using a lot of “house brands” (such as Kroger and Kirkland) because 99% of the time their products contain less salt, less fat and less additives than brand names. I do eat McDonalds (get a craving sometimes) but I get mine with just ketchup, lettuce and tomatoes. If I do have their fries, I ask for no salt.

    Such a great idea, I know when its right there in black and white I ALWAYS make a healthier choice…I have an app on my phone that has all the info for the chains and I make myself look at it before I decide what to eat…I like panera bread, lots of healthy options!

    Good job!! My husband Steve and I are avid label-readers and it’s extremely rare when we eat something without knowing the ‘damage’ it may cause!
