There’s nothing sexier than an ooey, gooey brownie!

Okay – I was hungry before I read this, obviously time for lunch! Might have to do some baking later, too…

Danyelle– TOO FUNNY. I had practically the EXACT SAME experience when I went to Barnes and Noble. I had to ask for the book, the male employee found it, then made some crack about his g-friend needing her own copy! it kind of annoyed me, actually. I think men just can’t help themselves. Sigh. Can’t live with ‘em, can’t live without ‘em.

Loving it so far. awesome tips for the best retail shops to buy from, ones you should skip.

Oh, and this post makes me want to leave work early, go home, and make that crazy layer cake. why, oh why, did you have to post this on a day when all I’ve had to eat was an english muffin???? bitchy! :)

  5. Danyelle Smith says:

Went to local Barnes and Nobles– had to ask some guy where it was, but we found it. so it’s there– just gotta ask. This guy smirked when i told him the title, then said, ‘my girlfriend should read that.’

Just got this book from amazon!!! Very funny. I didn’t realize it would cover SO much. Buying & selling cars, where to buy pants, recipes, etc. etc. This lady actually makes me want to eat cabbage! My mom couldn’t do that, but a bitch can!! ha ha ha

I usually keep something that’s home baked around to nibble on or to offer guests who drop by. Even if it’s cookies made from a pouch of mix, it still has more of a home baked flavor than something pre-baked in a package. Coffee cake is a good item to have on hand as it also goes well with a cup of tea. There are great recipes on the Bisquick box. Surf the web for the recipe for Velvet Crumb Cake. It’s very simple, easy and totally delicious.

Baking is also one of my indulgences…I love to bake anything sweet and preferably gooey! I do find that seeing the look on my husband’s face when he takes that first bite of one of my creations, is a big part of what drives me. But I admit, that the primary reason I bake…is to eat it!
